"Seasons" is Allison's second album of solo piano music, composed during her first four seasons returning to life from a five year coma.

Much of the music on this album was composed while living in a Tibetan Buddhist Monastery, where she returned to life and remembered her Spirit.

This album is dedicated to the seasons, nature, and change in life. To each of us, who are a part of nature, who continue to change, learn, and grow, both together and individually as we journey through the seasons of Life.

As we learn that the more we are able to surrender to the natural flow of life, the sooner we are able to make room for a much greater, more beautiful picture to unfold than we could ever imagine for ourselves.

With gratitude to all of the people, trees, flowers, rivers, lakes, and animals who have been a part of this life journey, and inspired the music on this album. Many blessings as we walk this life together.

Allison Zopel North Carolina

Allison Zopel was born in Northern Wisconsin into a family of musicians. Her father was a symphony director and Jazz composer, whom she enjoyed performing with her siblings. At 15, she began singing in The Zopel Jazz Quartet. Soon after, she began composing piano music, releasing her albums, "Music from Within" and "Seasons". Allison began playing Kirtan music in 2011, & composing Kirtan in 2015. ... more
